SEATING ADVICE:
Close Orchestra seats are best for the best views of the cast members' facial expressions. The best are rows B - L. I've seen the show many times and found I don't feel as involved with it when I sit in the Mezz. Front few rows of Mezz are probably fine. The Mezzanine starts above row N of orchestra.

Broadway's Gershwin Theatre holds over 1700 people and is both wide and deep. There are no pillars to obstruct viewing but some side seats are being sold as obstructed views because of the angle and the set.

Once inside, audiences behold the Oz map curtain and "Ozwald" the puppet dragon over the proscenium, representing the time dragon clock from Maguire's novel (read Maguire's comments on the set on the Story source page). Magic continues as the show proceeds to unfold the untold story of the witches of Oz.
